Representative Grace Meng,
We urge you to lend your congressional voice for a ceasefire in Israel and occupied Palestine, joining over 30 of your Congressional colleagues in doing so.
2.3 million Palestinians in Gaza are without water, electricity and with dwindling food supplies, on the brink of an untold humanitarian catastrophe. The collective punishment must end. ALL hostages must be safely released. The bombing campaigns displacing and murdering innocent civilians cannot be done in our name, nor with our tax dollars.
A humanitarian pause is not enough. Evacuating US citizens from Gaza is not enough. Vague, one-sided statements are not enough. Taking PAC money without representing your constituency is unacceptable.
We stand with the calls of Jewish Voices for Peace, the Palestinian Youth Movement, human rights organizations, and our Palestinian cherished friends and neighbors in Queens calling for an immediate ceasefire.
